Job Requirements
We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate MBBS Doctor/Physician to join our telemedicine team as a consultant. As a Telemedicine Consultant, you will provide remote medical consultations and guidance to patients through telecommunication platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients’ medical conditions, provide accurate diagnoses, offer treatment recommendations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality virtual healthcare services. You will play a crucial role in delivering accessible healthcare to patients from the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct remote medical consultations with patients via telecommunication platforms, such as video calls or phone calls.
• Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, and relevant health records to assess their current medical condition.
• Ask targeted questions to gather additional information and clarify patients’ symptoms or concerns.
• Provide accurate medical diagnoses based on the information collected and your clinical expertise.
• Develop and communicate personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, advising on lifestyle modifications, and recommending further diagnostic tests or specialist referrals as necessary.
• Offer medical advice and guidance on managing acute or chronic health conditions, including follow-up care and self-care measures.
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare practices, disease management, and the importance of adherence to prescribed treatments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and privacy regulations.
• Document patient encounters accurately and comprehensively in the telemedicine platform or electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists or pharmacists, for collaborative patient care and referrals when needed.
• Stay updated with the latest medical research, treatment guidelines, and advancements in telemedicine technologies.
Requirements:
• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical license and registration to practice medicine.
• Proven experience as a practicing physician, preferably with experience in telemedicine or remote healthcare delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of medical conditions, diseases, and treatment options across various specialties.
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients remotely and provide clear medical explanations.
• Proficiency in using telecommunication platforms and technology for remote consultations.
• Empathy and compassion towards patients, with the ability to provide reassurance and support remotely.
• Strong organizational skills to manage patient consultations efficiently and maintain accurate records.
